The Taxi Brothers and the Storm Brothers

In July of 1974, in Hamilton, Bermuda, a 17-year-old boy named Neville Ebbin was riding his moped down Middle Road. A taxi driver carrying a passenger struck him and killed him.

In July 1975, in Hamilton, Bermuda, a 17-year-old Erskine Ebbin, Neville’s brother, was riding the same moped down the same street when he was struck and killed by the same taxi driver, carrying the same passenger.

In March 2002, a 70 year-old man was riding his bike in a blinding snowstorm in Raahe, Finland. He was struck by a truck and died on the scene.

Two hours later, his twin brother was riding his bike down the same road in Raahe when he was struck by a truck and died just a mile away from the first accident.

The second twin had no idea his brother had been killed, so it couldn’t be ruled a suicide. They both had the habit of riding their bikes in blizzards.
